Bachelor of Science in 工商管理
A Business degree provides the concepts and skills for success in business and for future study. Being a 工商管理 student at ECU is a rewarding experience for all involved. The courses cover all functional areas of the business environment without sacrificing an awareness of the arts, 科学与人文. Students learn skills and techniques that can be applied to virtually any industry and can even be used to start a company of their own. The Department of 工商管理 brings together five business disciplines with programs leading to a bachelor of science. Concentrations include General Business, 管理, 创业, 金融 and 市场营销.

  • 财务集中
    The 金融 concentration provides the knowledge needed to apply theories, 方法, and techniques in all areas of 金融. Concentration courses emphasize corporate and personal 金融, as well as the functions of financial institutions.
     
  • 一般业务集中
    The General Business concentration provides greater flexibility in developing a program tailored to the student’s needs and objectives. Students take advanced courses from each of the other concentrations to gain a broad understanding of business.
     
  • 管理浓度
    The 管理 concentration provides the knowledge and professional skills necessary for effective performance in public or private sector organizations. Managerial skills for large and small businesses are addressed from both a theory and applications approach.
     
  • 市场集中
    The 市场营销 concentration develops analytical abilities for intensive study of current 市场营销 trends. Courses emphasize (1) problem solving and decision-making; (2) 市场营销 plans and 市场营销 policy, 策略, and procedures; and (3) qualitative and quantitative research 方法.

 

Bachelor of Science in Information Technology 管理
A Bachelor degree in Information Technology 管理 (ITM) supports the need for workers who understand the basic functions of 管理 (staffing, 组织, 预算, and control) along with IT functions as it relates to business (software development, 变更管理, 和网络规划).  The degree will prepare students to succeed in entry-level positions in the field and advance to the level of Computer and 信息系统 Managers where they could be responsible for the development of 技术 strategies, 升级技术, 以及安全系统. Students will have the opportunity to earn options in 信息系统, 项目管理, 数据分析.

  • 信息系统
    The 信息系统 concentration prepares students for careers that apply computer knowledge and 信息技术 to the business environment. The curriculum integrates the knowledge of basic business courses in accounting, 金融, 市场营销, 和管理 with 信息技术. The IS graduate will be able to function in the corporate environment or in the 小型企业.
     
  • 数据分析
    The 数据分析 concentration prepares students for careers that use computer and information skills to analyze data for business decisions. The curriculum integrates the knowledge of basic business courses in accounting, 金融, 市场营销, 管理, 信息技术, 通过数据分析. The graduate will be able to function in the corporate environment, 小型企业, 或者研究领域.
     
  • 项目管理
    The 信息系统 concentration prepares students for careers that apply computer knowledge and 信息技术 to project 管理. The curriculum integrates the knowledge of basic business courses in accounting, 金融, 市场营销, 和管理, 信息技术, 项目管理. The graduate will complete the coursework recommended by the 项目管理 Institute and meets the educational requirements for professional certification.
     

管理学硕士
The MiM degree targets students whose first degree is outside a business field or who have a degree in a business field but would like to enhance their knowledge of business. The curriculum is designed to provide an innovative, 高层, focused program in response to employer needs for managerial-level employees with a sound knowledge of business theory and practices. Students admitted to the program are not required to complete “leveling” courses as required by traditional MBA programs. The program is designed to be completed in 12-24 months.
